REGIONAL ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY
RAPS Thrift StoresEvery purchase helps save a life.
The Regional Animal Protection Society operates three community thrift stores, turning donated goods into second chances for animals in need. When you shop, donate, or volunteer, you’re directly funding veterinary care, shelter, rescue, and our life-saving no-kill programs.
What you give — or find on our shelves — helps provide food, medicine, and safe homes for thousands of animals each year.
Good value. Good values.
ABOUT OUR THRIFT STORES
The RAPS Community Thrift Stores and Mama Karen’s Korner are non-profit, second-hand shops where 100% of proceeds go directly to the care of animals.
Every donation and every purchase helps fund food, shelter, veterinary care, and lifesaving programs for the animals who depend on us. When you shop with RAPS, your dollars don’t go to shareholders or multinational conglomerates — they go straight back into the community.
Our stores offer incredible bargains while doing real good. By reusing and recycling thousands of items each week, we reduce waste, support the circular economy, and make everyday essentials more affordable in one of Canada’s most expensive regions.
Run largely by dedicated volunteers, our shelves are always changing — from furniture and housewares to books, clothing, tools, and hidden treasures. Visit often, save money, and know that every find helps save lives.
Shop smart. Give back. Help animals thrive.
