At Our Cat Sanctuary:
This haven houses hundreds of cats, many of whom would have faced euthanasia in other jurisdictions. Providing individualized care to every animal requires a huge, committed team of passionate volunteers like you. Your actions—feeding, cleaning, and showing love—transform this sanctuary into a true home. Volunteers must be 12+.
In Our Adoption Centre:
Help these animals prepare for the next chapter of their lives as they await their forever families. Your dedication helps bring joy to their lives and ensures they are socialized and ready for their new family. Volunteers must be 17+. Roles at the Cat Sanctuary and Adoption Centre are ideal for deeply devoted animal allies who are motivated by a love of being around animals or who seek a future working with animals.
At Our Thrift Stores:
Imagine the joy of knowing every item sold helps fund lifesaving care for animals. In this role, you’ll be the friendly face customers turn to, helping them find treasures and ensuring our stores shine. Volunteers must be 14+. These roles are ideal for many people, including young people looking for retail and merchandising experience.
Inside Our Animal Hospital:
Step into a world of healing and care, where every task you do supports the critical work of saving lives. From cleaning to maintaining the waiting room, you’ll be part of a team that makes real miracles happen. Volunteers must be 19+. These roles are ideal for extremely responsible individuals, including those looking for experience to advance a career in veterinary services.
At Our Events:
Be the voice of RAPS, spreading the word about our life-changing work at vibrant community events. Engage with the public, share your passion, and help inspire others to join our mission of love and protection. Volunteers must be 16+. These roles are ideal for outgoing, motivated individuals who are looking to build or expand their facility in public relations, community organizing and event planning.
IMPORTANT
Volunteers between 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian (19+).
A minimum commitment of 6 months is required.
Volunteers must complete a criminal record check and agree to the use of any photos/videos for promotional purposes.
