At Our Cat Sanctuary:
Step into a place where second chances live.
Our sanctuary is home to hundreds of cats — many who would not have survived elsewhere. Here, every bowl filled, every bed cleaned, every gentle touch helps turn fear into trust and shelter into home.
As a volunteer, you’re not just helping with daily care. You’re offering comfort, dignity, and love to animals who need it most. Your presence transforms lives — theirs and yours.
Volunteers must be 12+.
In Our Adoption Centre:
Be part of the moment everything changes.
At the Adoption Centre, you help animals get ready for their forever families — building their confidence, socializing them, and showing them the kindness they’ll carry into their new homes.
Your time and dedication help write the next chapter of their story: one filled with belonging and love. This is a perfect role for compassionate animal advocates and anyone dreaming of a future working with animals.
Volunteers must be 17+.
At Our Thrift Stores:
Turn everyday shopping into lifesaving impact.
Every item sold helps fund food, shelter, and medical care for animals across our community. As a volunteer, you become the welcoming face that makes it all possible — helping customers find treasures while knowing every purchase supports a greater purpose.
It’s a fun, social way to give back, build skills, and make a real difference with every shift.
Volunteers must be 14+.
Inside Our Animal Hospital:
Step into the heart of lifesaving care.
Behind every recovery is a team of compassionate people making it possible. From preparing spaces to supporting daily operations, every task you take on helps animals heal, feel safe, and get a second chance at life.
You’ll work alongside dedicated professionals in an environment where small acts add up to real miracles. It’s meaningful, hands-on experience — and the opportunity to be part of something truly life-changing.
Volunteers must be 19+. These roles are ideal for responsible, dependable individuals, especially those interested in exploring or advancing a career in veterinary care.
At Our Events:
Be an ambassador for hope.
Out in the community, you’ll help share the RAPS story — connecting with people, sparking conversations, and inspiring others to join a movement built on compassion and protection for animals.
Your voice can open hearts, grow support, and bring more people into our mission. If you love meeting people and making an impact, this is your chance to turn enthusiasm into action.
Volunteers must be 16+. These roles are perfect for outgoing, motivated individuals interested in public relations, community engagement, and event planning.
IMPORTANT
Volunteers between 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian (19+).
A minimum commitment of 6 months is required.
Volunteers must complete a criminal record check and agree to the use of any photos/videos for promotional purposes.
