Blossom was a victim of extreme neglect. She came to us emaciated, missing hair, bleeding and seeping fluids and had scabs all over her body. We can only imagine the pain she had endured.

She could not even withstand affection because petting hurt her delicate, wounded skin.

In so many places, a dog like Blossom would have been euthanized. Because RAPS is a no-kill animal-serving organization, we provided her with every available treatment – including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which is available in Canada only at RAPS Animal Hospital.

Blossom still has a struggle ahead of her to bring her back to ideal health. We have every confidence that she will. Because you help us keep our promise to animals like Blossom and thousands like her, each with their individual story.
